BOOKING CONDITIONSI. PROVISIONAL BOOKING
Agreement to a provisional booking places you under no obligation, but the length of the option offered will be by agreement and depend upon the circumstances at the time of your enquiry.
II. BOOKING CONFIRMATION
No booking can be accepted until confirmed in witing (or e-mail), together with the correct non returnable deposit of £200 or full payment (whichever is applicable), is received by the owners.
III. DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
For bookings made more than eight weeks before the start of the holiday, a non-refundable deposit of £200 is required at the time of booking. The balance will be due eight weeks before the commencement of the holiday. The owners reserve the right to re-let the property in the event of non-payment by the due date. For bookings made less than eight weeks before commencement full payment is required.
A separate, returnable deposit of £200 will be requested to cover breakages and losses.
Quoted prices do not include bed linen ot bath towel hire. These may be hired from the owners under separate arrangements.
IV. CANCELLATION (By the Clients)
a) within 8 weeks 25% of the total
b) within 6 weeks 40% cost will be
c) within 4 weeks 60% non-returnable, unless the property can be re-let.
d) within 2 weeks 100%
V. CLEANING CHARGES
Up to six hours of end of holiday cleaning are included in the price. Should the cleaner need to take any more than six hours, she will inform me and each additional hour will be charged at €20 per hour (prorata for less than an hour) and will be deducted from the security deposit. The cleaner's record of time taken will be final.
(Please note that this condition was introduced after a bad experience with one family who caused the need for over 16 hours of cleaning and repairs. The owner does not profit from the extra charge.)
VI. INSURANCE
Whilst the property has adequate insurance cover for buildings, contents, fire, flood etc. the owners unfortunately cannot take liability for cancellation costs, personal accident or death whilst on the premises or grounds. It is strongly recommended that you have travel insurance to cover such eventualities.
